The budget smartphone market in India is heating up, and iQOO has just added another contender with the launch of the iQOO Z10 Lite 5G. Priced starting at ₹9,999, this phone promises a huge battery, 5G support, and a clean design. But is it really worth buying? Let’s break it down.

Design & Display

The iQOO Z10 Lite sports a 6.74-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution (1600×720 pixels) and a 90Hz refresh rate. It also goes up to 1000 nits peak brightness, making it decent for outdoor visibility. The design is simple but functional, and the phone comes with an IP64 rating, which means it’s resistant to dust and light splashes — a rare feature at this price point.

Performance & Software

Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, a 6nm processor that ensures efficient day-to-day performance. It comes in three variants:

  • 8GB RAM + 256GB storage

You also get virtual RAM expansion for smoother multitasking. On the software side, it runs Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15, and iQOO has promised 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security patches, which is impressive for its class.

Cameras

For photography, the Z10 Lite is equipped with a 50MP Sony main sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there’s a 5MP selfie camera. While the rear camera performs decently in good lighting, low-light performance is limited. The front camera is basic but gets the job done for video calls and casual selfies.

Battery & Charging

One of the biggest highlights of this phone is its 6,000mAh battery. This ensures 1.5 to 2 days of usage with ease, even for heavy users. The downside, however, is its 15W charging speed. With such a large battery, refueling takes a while.
